This piece was created as a visual meditation on Qadr—the divine decree—and the quiet strength found in surrendering to the will of Allah (swt). Life often unfolds in unexpected ways. Doors close, people leave, plans shift. In these moments, our hearts seek meaning, and our faith calls us to trust that what is written for us will never pass us by—and what passes us by was never meant to remain.

This painting invites the viewer into that trust: the grace of letting go, the peace of knowing Allah is the Best of Planners. Inspired by the Prophetic wisdom on divine decree, it speaks to the unseen blessings in detours, delays, and divine redirection.

Inscribed along the bottom of the artwork is the powerful verse:

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal Wakil
